太陽的上下兩半大小不一？
天空上下兩半呈現截然不同的藍色？
The diameter of the sun was not the same in the upper and bottom half?

前天，一層薄雲穿越旭日如金線：
A string of clouds cutting across the morning
sun on 16/1:

由於旭日受雲遮擋，光線強度不一，
薄雲上下的太陽直徑大細不一，
看來上半部分較下半部分大些，
是第一次見到的奇景：
As the sun ray was blocked by the clouds,
the intensity of light was not the same.
The diameter of the sun was not the same
in the upper and bottom half.
The sun was 'cut' into two halves by the string of
clouds.
The bottom half looked smaller than the upper half.
This was an unprecedented sight to me:

The sun started to hide behind the clouds when it

旭日光芒稍稍被雲遮擋兩邊，
令天空呈現上下兩半不同深淺的藍色，
像一片薄霧迷濛籠罩，
也是第一次見到的奇景：
As sunlight was slightly ringed by the clouds,
there were two levels of blue color
in the top and bottom half of the sky,
as if there was a thin layer of fog.
This was also an unprecedented sight to me:

以上兩次的日出，
共通點都是太陽光線受阻，
形成太陽上下兩半大小不一，
或天空上下兩半的藍色截然不同。
The common characteristic of these two sunrise
was that sunlight was reduced by clouds,
so that the sun and the sky looked differently in the upper and bottom half.
