那麼人生究竟掌握在自己的手上，
抑或創造我們的主的手上？

3月21日又是寒流後的清晨，天色特別清朗，
第一眼但見一道金光畫過長空，
剛好落在黑山之上，十分奇特。
其實可能雲層較薄位置如一道夾縫，
太陽金光穿透其中而造成，詩情畫意：
The weather on 21 March 2018 after a cold front was very fine. I saw a golden yellow band of light sketched across the sky, which landed on the ranges and looked very peculiar like an artistic drawing. Actually, it might be a narrow gap where the clouds were thinner and thus allowed the sunlight to pass through:

金線隨後縮短，山後開始金光輝煌，預告主角即將出場：
The golden yellow band became shorter,
but the sky became more golden,
predicting that the sun was going to appear:

當陽光越強，中央由金黃轉白：
As the sunlight turned stronger,
the centre changed from golden yellow to white:

天朗氣清使太陽真貌表露無遺；
鏡頭下太陽光環層次分明，
肉眼當然不能直視，更莫說分辨，只有靠數碼科技顯明：
As the sky was very clear and the air quality was very good on this day,
the sun appeared extraordinarily huge.
Under the digital lens, the color rings were distinct.
Of course they could not be clearly differentiated by the human eye, it could only be illustrated so clearly by digital means:

前後兩座黑山嶺，襯托白日金光，氣勢更顯磅礡：

太陽只消廿分鐘，差不多完全現身，即將告別山嶺，
靜待它升至峰頂，等候完美構圖出現：
Just after 20 minutes, the sun had almost appeared completely
and starting to depart from the hills.
I waited patiently to capture it again on top of the summit,
which would be a perfect sight:

輝煌巨日的軸心與峰頂成一直線，
3月9日時太陽尚且如帽子套在峰頂，
但今天完全分離，構圖又改變，山峰像頂著一個足球：
The centre of the mega sun and the summit appeared on the same axis. On 9 March, the sun capped the summit, but now it is totally above the summit like a ball on top of it:

為甚麼會有春分？
今年3月21日是農曆廿四節氣之春分，
標誌著太陽當天直射赤道，北半球踏入春天，
南半球踏入秋天，這天晝夜平分。
但試想如果地球軸心(從北極至南極的中軸線)沒有傾斜，
便不會有四季之分，那會有甚麼問題產生？
人生的季節
原來按西曆計算，今年春分在20日，
日前看見靈命日糧3月20日文章《好時節》這文章，
從氣候的季節引申到人生的「季節」：
『除了天氣之外，我們也會歷經人生不同的季節。
傳道書的作者告訴我們，在日光之下凡事都有定期，
也就是說我們一生所經歷的事，
都有上帝所定的時間（傳道書3章1-11節）。
在摩西帶領以色列民行經曠野之後，
他也談到自己生命中新的一季（申命記31章2節），
這時他必須把領袖的棒子交給約書亞。
保羅在羅馬遭受軟禁時，也同樣面臨一個孤寂的季節。
他期待有人前來探訪，
卻也體會到「惟有主站在我旁邊」（提摩太後書4章17節）。
無論我們正處於人生的哪一個季節，
讓我們為上帝的偉大、幫助與同在，一起來向祂獻上感謝吧！
天父，感謝祢在我人生的這個季節看顧我，
祢允許我處於這個狀況，必有祢的美意。
求祢幫助我，能善用祢所定的時節，使我更深信靠祢。』
不禁問：現正處於那個人生的季節 -
初春、盛夏、深秋、寒冬？
寒冬(困難)總會過去，春天定必再來。
『凡事都有定期，天下萬務都有定時。』
很喜歡傳道書3章1至11節，
人越年長，體會越深：
『凡事都有定期，天下萬務都有定時。
生有時，死有時。
栽種有時，拔出所栽種的也有時。
殺戮有時，醫治有時。拆毀有時，建造有時。
哭有時，笑有時。哀慟有時，跳舞有時。
拋擲石頭有時，堆聚石頭有時。
懷抱有時，不懷抱有時。尋找有時，失落有時。
保守有時，捨棄有時。撕裂有時，縫補有時。
靜默有時，言語有時。喜愛有時，恨惡有時。
爭戰有時，和好有時。
這樣看來，做事的人在他的勞碌上有什麼益處呢？
我見神叫世人勞苦，使他們在其中受經練。
神造萬物，各按其時成為美好，
又將永生安置在世人心裡，
然而神從始至終的作為，人不能參透。』
深有同感。

Why are there equinoxes?
The above photos were taken on 21 March 2018,
the vernal equinox according to the Chinese lunar calendar. The Northern Hemisphere stepped into spring and the Southern Hemisphere welcomed autumn. Duration of daytime is the same as the duration of nighttime, i.e. 12 hours. But let’s imagine: if the axis of the Earth has not been tilted, there won’t be four seasons. Then what are the
problems that would arise?
Seasons of life
According to the western calendar, 20 March
2018 was vernal equinox, and the article ‘A
Good Season’ on 20 March 2018 of Our DailyBread, used seasons of life to describe different stages of our life,
"We also go through seasons of life that
don’t have to do with the weather. The author of Ecclesiastes told us there is
a season for every activity under the sun—a time appointed by God during which
we live our lives (3:1–11).
Moses spoke of a new season in his life after
he led the people of Israel through the wilderness (Deuteronomy 31:2), and he
had to give up his leadership role to Joshua. And Paul faced a lonely season
while he was under house arrest in Rome—asking for visitors but realizing that
God was “at my side” (2 Timothy 4:17).
Regardless of the season of life, let’s give
thanks to God for His greatness, His help, and His companionship.
Thank You, Father, for the promise of Your care
during this season of my life. You have allowed this circumstance for a good
reason. Help me to use this time appointed by You in a way that deepens my
trust in You."
Which season of life am I in now?
Spring, summer, autumn or winter?
The cold winter (difficulties) would certainly
pass and spring would surely return.

My personal favorite verses are Ecclesiastes
3:1-11
(NIV):
“There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under
the heavens:
a time to be born and
a time to die,
a time to plant and a
time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down
and a time to build,
a time to weep and a
time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a
time to dance,
a time to scatter
stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and
a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and
a time to give up,
a time to keep and a
time to throw away,
a time to tear and a
time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a

What do workers gain
from their toil?
I have seen the
burden God has laid on the human race.
He has made
everything beautiful in its time.
He has also set

I fully agree with the above.
