Golden cirrocumulus clouds just within 10 minutes 金黃色的捲積雲 - 只有十分鐘！

      Today, I used my old phone to take photos of golden cirrocumulus clouds and rediscovered two sets of photos taken two years old. At that time my mom had just  passed away. I wasn't in the mood to appreciate even the most beautiful scenery. But these photos were truly unforgettable because the 'golden lasagna' is spectacular. 

      When the sun was rising behind the cirrocumulus clouds, the clouds were bathed in golden sunrays, which looked like lasagna of the Italian cuisine. 

      Four photos showed the process how the sun soared into the sky.

今天用舊手機拍攝金色的捲積雲，

發現遺忘了兩年前拍攝的兩輯照片。

當時母親離世不久，

再美的景色，

也沒有心情欣賞；

但這些照片，

確實令人難忘，

因為「千層闊麵」很壯觀！

當太陽被捲積雲遮擋，

層層叠叠的捲積雲，

被旭日初升染得金黃，

就像意大利餐的千層闊麵！

以下四張照片，

展示了太陽衝上雲霄的過程：

The above photos were taken on 28 Dec 2020. 

      On the following day, similar golden sheets of cirrocumulus clouds appeared too. Good things come in pairs! However the sun was blocked by a band of clouds before soaring into the sky. 

以上是28.12.2020拍攝的， 

翌日依然有類似的「金箔」捲積雲和高積雲，

實在好事成雙！

不過太陽先「爆光」，

然後忽然被雲帶遮擋，

最後才重新衝上雲霄：

      In the past, the cirrocumulus clouds that I have taken photos of appeared between October and December. The altitude was similar to the peak on the left. This might be related to the topography along the coast of Guangdong. When cirrocumulus clouds were moving south, a long band of clouds would be formed offshore!

     When I  browsed information in the internet, some people also offered similar explanations that the lower part of cirrocumulus clouds will turn gold during sunrise or sunset, but this would only last for 10 minutes. So we really need to seize the right timing. The time for sunrise is different day by day, e.g. it is earlier in October and later in December. 

過往拍攝捲積雲，

均在十月至十二月間，

高度與左邊山峯相若，

可能與廣東沿岸地形有關，

令從北方南下的捲積雲，

在離岸形成一條長長的雲帶！

翻閱網上資料，

原來也有人解釋，

捲積雲在旭日東升或日落西沉時，

雲塊底部會泛起金黃色，

但持續時間只有十分鐘，

真要把握機會。

旭日初升的時間，

隨月份不斷改變，

例如十月比較早，

十二月比較遲。
