今年本地氣候反常極端，屢破記錄。 六月前大旱，樹木幾乎渴死； 之後六至八月雨量回復充足， 樹木紛紛長出翠綠新葉如春天。 早前逛街時被路旁翠綠葉吸引，拍下一些照片； 但不到一個月，全城樹木哀號！ 颶風摧殘後的鳳凰木，一息尚存： 同一株鳳凰木，一個月前，雨水潤澤下翠綠滿目： 21.8.2018 風災前 斜坡上本來樹木高聳： 22.8.2018 風災前 遺址 - 不能辨認： 22.9.2018 將軍澳原本的林蔭大道： 3.9.2018 變成如雕塑般的枯枝： 19.9.2018 路旁斜坡青翠疊疊： 28.8.2018 28.8.2018 風災後損兵折將： 19.9.2018 昨夜抬頭，月仍未滿， 願這中秋，人月兩圓！ 要珍惜眼前的不止是人，也有景物。 誰會料到景物一夜徹底改變，樹面全非？ 看著野地裏的樹，令我想起一句經文： 你們這小信的人哪！ 野地裏的草今天還在， 明天就丟在爐裏， 神還給它這樣的妝飾， 何況你們呢！  (馬太福音6章30節) *

(English at the bottom) 近年生活空間擴闊了， 看聖經經文或靈修書， 不單消化文字的意思， 亦多了 思考 怎樣應用於個人情況。 例如今天閱 讀《每日經歷神》 8 月 23 日的文章《 一步步得勝利 》， 指出神會一步步改變我的性格？ 如果將文章中的『你』字變為『我』字，有更切身的感受： 『當神帶領你 ( 我 ) 在屬靈的生命上成長， 衪給你 ( 我 ) 的挑戰， 是合適於你 ( 我 ) 的性格及你 ( 我 ) 與神的關係。 當你 ( 我 ) 成為基督徒時， 神不會一次就改變你 ( 我 ) 的性格。 祂會引導你 ( 我 ) 經歷一段過程， 讓你 ( 我 ) 變得更像衪的兒子。』 啊！要使我變得更像主耶穌？ 主有那麼多優點， 就好像聖靈的 九種果子，我都缺乏， 與主的距離太遠了，神的期望是否太大？ 但作者布克比牧師說， 『衪(神)會不斷地在你 ( 我 ) 生命某方面作工， 直到你 ( 我 ) 生命的那個部分， 被聖靈完全掌管才罷休。』 其實近期不斷有新體會， 就是神造人有各種不同的性格或特質，必有其意； 例如結合不同性格與能力的人， 互相配搭， 如聖經所說的：人有不同恩賜。 各種性格，雖各有長處，但同時也各有短處， 例如因應工作需要，近期閱讀一本有關資優的書 ( 註 1) ， 始知資優兒童的種種優勢， 同時也可能引起一些待人處事上的問題，需要注意。 上天看來很公平，沒有一種特質或強項，是十全十美的。 世上沒有人是完美如主耶穌的， 聖經不是說世上連一個義人都沒有嗎？ 但信主的人會經歷持續的過程， 讓主不斷幫助我們改變、更新。 不過，常言道『江山易改，本性難移』， 要改變自己的性格  ( 大概指性格上的弱點吧？ ) ， 一定困難。 《 一步步得勝利 》 這篇文章的 作者 布克比牧師， 分析非常仔細， 期望事情快快完 成的我， 看完這句只好鍛鍊耐性了： 『你可能非常渴望在自己性格上的每個方面都能成熟， …… 讓你體會必要的經歷，好幫助你靈性的成長。 當神要培養你擁有像耶穌一樣的生命時，不要沒耐性。 不要擔負超過衪要給你的責任。 順服衪所有的旨意，衪會照著目前最合適你的性格， 及合於衪在你身上的計畫之步調，領你前進。 』 這令我想起工作上時常聽到...

20.7.2018  10:46 a.m. (With English at the bottom) 很喜歡這種湖水藍。 小時畫海水的顏色， 大概就是這種色調， 不會是深藍或碧綠。 海水深藍色的部分， 原來是雲投影海上， 因此並非水流造成。 這天風吹雲如趕羊， 陰影快速掠過水面， 構圖不斷更新改變。 水平線上灰色陸地， 是東南面担竿群島─ 港島海上一面屏障， 阻隔南海海浪衝擊。 Lake blue sea This type of lake blue color is my favorite. When I drew pictures of the sea during childhood,  I suppose this was the color that I used, not deep blue or green.  The deep blue was the shadow caused by clouds moving in the sky.  So now I know that the difference in the color of the sea surface is not caused by different sea currents. The wind was blowing hard this morning,  driving the clouds like a shepherd driving a flock of sheep. The shadows moved quickly across the sea surface and their forms were changing constantly. Friendship is like sitting in the same boat during dark  hours... 『朋友乃時常親愛，弟兄為患難而生』 中文以「同舟共濟」來形容患難與共的朋友，而今天聆聽的講道亦以友誼為題。以下是當中的重點： 神使人成為群體；神造人，並使人享受與人的友誼；友誼是神賜予的。 箴言第 17 章 17 節： 『朋友乃時常親愛，弟兄為患難而生』 ，牧師指出：愛必須是友誼的主要動機。英文詞彙「朋友」 ('friend') 一字的原文意思是「自由無拘束地去愛的人」 ('One who loves freely ’ ) 。 牧師問我們與朋友的友誼是否建基於愛？『朋友乃時常親愛，弟兄為患難而生』這句中，含有質與量：「親愛」是友誼的「質」；「時常」是友誼的「量」。要時常地去愛朋友，意即無論在任何情況下，例如患難、憎恨、悲傷，甚至最艱難的時刻。 牧師又問：當朋友有難，我們會怎樣反應？是否仍願意愛這位在患難中的朋友，不論發生甚麼事情？他舉了兩個聖經的例子：大衛與約拿單，路得與拿俄米；他 / 她們雖經歷逆境，但逆境未有打擊友誼。 牧師又提到 箴言 27 章 17 節： 『鐵磨鐵，磨出刃來；朋友相感也是如此』 ，意思是真正的朋友敢於挑戰我們，但我們是否期望有這種友誼？很多時逆境反而打擊友誼，令友誼決裂，而這是令人很傷痛的事。當我們覺得朋友傷害了我們時，我們可能鬥氣，甚至想以其人之道還治其人之身！因此，寬恕別人是最重要的。 箴言 17 章 9 節： 『遮掩人過的，尋求人愛；屢次挑錯的，離間密友』 。後半部分，英文意思可以指” Whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. ”，換言之要醒察屢次挑錯 ( ’ repeats ’ ) 的，是否我們自己不停將不滿對方之事反覆思想，甚至向對方重提舊事，以致損害我們對對方的愛，破壞友誼？ 最後牧師指出： -            主耶穌的愛是無條件的。 -      ...

English summary  Clouds in the eastern or southern sky would lit up and become red or purple-red when the sunset sunlight shines from the western sky to the east or southeastern sky. This phenomenon only appears within  minutes before the sunset.  If the clouds are very red in color, it also indicates that it will rain on the next day. If there are circus clouds lit by this kind of last light, the scenery would even be more romantic. Cirrus clouds are sculptured by the wind. It's like a painting painted by the nature. (English at the bottom) 有次想起，為甚麼眼科醫生建議休息眼睛時多遠望綠色植物？ 為甚麼是綠色？ 上網查找資料，始知解釋大致是： 綠色這種顏色的波長 (wavelength) 對眼睛最舒適！ 以往也曾聽聞藍色令人放鬆、紅色令人提高警覺； 金銀等反光顏色，以及紅、粉紅、橙、黃等鮮艷顏色， 會自然地吸引腦部注意，成為嬰兒及小孩恩物； 金銀鑽石，因而吸引眼球，成為飾物的主角。 這樣說來，望望四周的大自然， 看來各種景物的顏色均經巧妙安排， 並配合人的腦部運作！ 如果天空及碧海不是藍色而是紅色， 猶如日出日落般紅豔，會有怎樣的效果？ 對人的情緒會有何影響？ 小時上美術課，不是說紅色與綠色不能配搭嗎？ 但紅花綠葉又如何？ 如果葉不是綠而是紅，會帶來一個怎樣的世界？ 在郊野， 青山伴綠水， 藍天配白雲、 藍天下有雪山、 藍海中有白浪； 藍、綠、白都是好拍擋。 在日出日落時， 金、銀、紅、黃等霞光水色， 都被黑色襯托得更突出迷人。 現在以數碼攝影配合背光明亮的屏幕， 拍攝晨昏的海水， 原來被太陽照耀得金波絢麗 、銀海奪目。   萬物皆非偶然， 大自然的色彩， 看來一定經過精心設計吧！ Color design in nature I once asked myself a question, “Why do ophthalmologists give the recommendation of looking at distant green plants in order to relax the eyes?” Why is it green and not other colors? (English at the bottom) 前些時，天色常藍，終於下了幾場大雨，久旱逢甘霖，植物生機蓬勃。 路過所見，鮮嫩奪目。初看只覺得綠色青翠，但一拼比較下，發覺每張照片中的綠色，款款不同，除體會上主創造數不盡的色彩讓人欣賞，也感恩上主為人類提供高清的顏色分辨能力。 碧海藍天、白雲紅霞、青山綠葉。 花往往是悅目的主角， 但原來綠葉也可賞心，尤其雨後！ All kinds of green The long expected rain finally came to relieve the drought. Rain had replenished the plants and the green color attracted my attention. When I compared the photos,  I was astonished to find different types of green color. Almost the green color in each photo is different from the rest. Besides feeling grateful for the Creator to create countless types of colors for us to appreciate,  I also feel grateful for the Creator to provide me with the ability to perceive them. In Chinese, there is a saying that although red flowers are beautiful,  they need green leaves to support it.
